These half-cone caps are manufactured from solid aluminum, which after iron, is the second most used metal in the world; for good reason. Aluminum is a strong, lightweight, anticorrosive and highly malleable metal; a perfect fit for piling caps and a popular choice amongst buyers.
Our aluminum piling caps retain their natural matte finish, for reduced reflectivity and for flexibility in both modern and rustic styles; an all around great match for nearly all applications. This piling caps is also available in copper.
Choosing the right size - Measure the diameter of your round piling post, in inches, at its widest point. Round up and choose the larger size piling cap if your piling diameter falls between two piling cap sizes. Consider measuring every individual piling, since some posts, especially those made of wood, can possibly taper and vary in diameter.
InstallingPiling caps come with pre-drilled holes for ease of installation. they can be installed with color-matching screws / nails for an enhanced look or simply hammered into place for a more stealth, seamless finish.
